Default Earth element

Hello my fellow Elementalists, Recently I've been going trough HM with my Elementalist and found out the Fire Magic attribute is quite underpowered here... So I switched to Earth...

Elementalist / Mesmer - Renewal Sliver Aura
Earth Magic: 12+3+1
Energy Storage: 12+1
Inspiration Magic: 3
Stone Striker, Stoneflesh Aura, Kinetic Armor, Sliver Armor, Aura of Restoration, Optional, Glyph of Renewal, Mantra of Earth

Template Code: OgVDMTyMPb1vqpgHSLAALDDA

Usage:
Stone Striker, Stoneflesh Aura, Kinetic Armor, Mantra of Earth
Use Aura of Restoration to maintain Kinetic Armor at all times.
Use Glyph of Renewal, followed by Sliver armor.
Maintain your enchantments at all times, use Sliver Armor again when the previous one ended!

Any remarks, comments or advice is welcome!

Yeah, I've used a build similar to this, farming GoK hard mode.

It's useless for anything other than farming.
I stick to an Unsteady Ground-warder running Earth in Hard Mode in a team situation.

It's not designed for a team build ^^; though some farming in hard mode is nice
I also prefer to a chuning earth build... ward build for teams

Yeah I use a similar build for solo farming but instead of kinetic armor I use Unsteady ground. The KD keeps them in range till they die nine times out of ten. Unsteady ground rocks my socks but Sandstorm can be tons of fun.

How does this fare in Hard mode? Is Geomancer armor required. With the armro nerf, I would assume so, since I tried a similar build for Jade Knights outside Marketplace and got pwnt. Way too much damage. THink I used E/Mo with Balth Aura and Essence Bond (feeling lazy-less casting ) the jade were hitting with 37's a piece often with triple chop, outdamaging the heals. This does look better.

Does Mantra of Earth armor reduction stack with Armor of Earth or Kinetic? Or is it just used for a battery. I knmow the Geomancer and Stonestriker would help getting the +20 from insignias.

The Jade's armor is so high I think Sliver only hits for 9 or 10. I think Sandstorm/Sliver/Aftershock was faster.

I'm all for the Sandstorm/Churning Earth combination. Ward Against Foes to snare those who get close, none leave the circle if I can help it. Now, 3 Sandstorm eles will be interesting.
